Foodie Review: Papa Kanafa - San Diego

Papakanafa is a unique and delicious spot to satisfy that sweet tooth! This gem is tucked away in the suburban outskirts of San Diego. The shopping mall has many delicious Middle eastern businesses as the area is home to many Middle eastern California natives and immigrants. They serve Middle Eastern deserts and juices. They are known for their viral online Dubai Chocolate bar and Strawberry chocolate desert cup. The company started in Kuwait and has expanded into Jordan and other gulf region Middle east locations. They have put their unique spin on kunafa through infusing modern sweets.

According to the manager on my visit the story behind this brand began in 2014 when a number of Kuwaiti youths converged to share their mutual dreams. Papa Kanafa represents the crucial belief that dreams can always manifest into realities no matter what obstacles stand in their way. This place is a must try!

Business Block: Crypto Reserve, ISO 20022

A Federal Crypto reserve is in development within US. As we see the digital infrastructure develop and mature the Federal government finds it a bullish strategy in its portfolio. Questions are surfacing as if some of these digital currency projects are in the best interest of Americans Tax dollars. Decentralized and Centralized projects are key differentiators within the portfolio. We have seen Bitcoin increase by 58.7% from 52k to 109k as a decentralized digital asset. Other projects such as XRP, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano digital instruments may or may not have decentralized characteristics but will be pinned to the decentralized flows of bitcoin.  As we see industries such as AI, Real estate, Insurance, Supply chain, CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) evolve into the digital business infrastructure many of these smart contract instruments and tools will be utilized. Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock discussed tokenization of assets such as Bonds & Stocks at World economic...

Foodie Review: Seneca Italiano - San Diego

Delizios is what you will be saying once you experience  Seneca Italian joint in Downtown San Diego. They are within the top 3 best authentic Italian restaurants in the city. Reserve your lunch or dinner in advance because everyone is trying to get a taste of their spicy meatball! You won't be disappointed with the ambiance nor the view as the seating overlooks the San Diego, Coronado Bay on the rooftop, but dress warm. The bathrooms are pretty boogie too as they are lined in gold. The kitchen has an open concept, so you can sit at your table sipping your Sicilian wine and watch the chefs whipping up some authentic pasta or wood fire pizza. Who is Seneca one might ask? " Lucius Annaeus Seneca the Younger, usually known mononymously as Seneca, was a Stoic philosopher of Ancient Rome, a statesman, dramatist, and in one work, satirist, from the post-Augustan age of Latin literature." according to Wikipedia. (1) The ambiance is warm and my favorite starter is the Heirloom to...

Tech Talks: AI, Reciprocal Tariffs, Stock market tanking, Bureaucracy dismantled

It gets worse before it gets better, they say. An economy full of uncertainties makes it extremely hard to project the future—not to mention surprises that may be lying under a rock during audits. We saw Q1 start with an AI stock market boom as Tempus AI, BigBear AI, and others try to align with Nvidia chips. Nvidia earnings continue trending up as their future looks bright. The DeepSeek launch presented questions about whether Nvidia is overvalued, based on the cost of recent projects coming in extremely low for DeepSeek. Unfortunately, we saw the largest drop in the 2025 stock market during the last week of February. This comes as tariff negotiations have corporate America on the edge of their seats. This isn’t Trump’s first rodeo implementing trade tariffs. The upside is that it exposes complacency in companies’ supply chains on a micro level and non-reciprocal global trade deals on a global scale. America in 2025 is not the America of the 2000s or 1990s. Therefore, U.S. global trad...
